Responsibilities
Provide outstanding Operational Excellence; ensuring process optimization, waste reduction, as well as safety and quality enhancements within the organization's manufacturing operations
Maintain materials availability to support optimal inventory levels as well as meeting turn objectives and customer demand
Ensure supplier locations are producing efficiently and with standard of excellence through training and hands-on process improvement implementation
Provide reporting on project performance by product category and location, and develop strategies to achieve optimal results
Facilitate team Kaizen events
Lead OPEX initiatives, partnering with internal stakeholders to uphold OPEX standards across all operational functions
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience utilizing Lean methodologies to successfully manage a production team within a manufacturing environment
Fluent communicator in Spanish is required
Demonstrated history of instilling change management utilizing lean methodologies and upholding OPEX standards
Lean/Six Sigma Certification required
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering or Business required
Preferred
Experience leading production operations within a cost-out project manufacturing environment; knowledge of automotive, machinery and engineered products highly preferred
