Responsibilities
Investigate, design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions ranging in size from simple scripting to complex multi-system client-server solutions
Develop technical designs and specifications for complex software solutions
Research and develop system architectures, design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product design documents
Qualification
Required
8+ years of related work experience
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Master's degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) in STEM, Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field of study
Able to convert customer requirements including symbolic statements, work processes, and desired output into abstractions that can be implemented into logical code, user interfaces, and data visualizations
Able to use software development technologies and tools to build and maintain product modules, components and subsystems; follows best practices for software development
Able to verify accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample test data, conducting program tests, analyzing results and debugging
Able to report to a designated work location, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client
Understands multiple computer programming paradigms and has familiarity with a variety of programming languages (e.g. C++, Python, Java, SQL, etc.)
Superior interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
Able to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of group/division priorities
Recognized expert at developing briefs and reports for project leadership team review
