Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership : Define and execute the long-term engineering vision, architecture strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the client’s business objectives
Team Building & Culture : Build, inspire, and retain a world-class engineering organization with a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
Operational Excellence : Establish best practices for software development, quality assurance, DevOps, and release management to deliver reliable and scalable systems
Collaboration : Partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define priorities, timelines, and technical trade-offs
Innovation : Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering methodologies to keep the client at the forefront of innovation
Talent Development : Mentor engineering leaders and managers, providing coaching, performance management, and succession planning
Execution : Ensure delivery of key initiatives on time and with high quality, while balancing speed and scalability
Resource Management : Oversee engineering budgets, resource allocation, vendor management, and operational metrics
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive engineering leadership, including 3 years in a leadership role
Strong background in software engineering, system architecture, and modern tech stacks (cloud, distributed systems, APIs, DevOps practices)
Proven ability to lead large, diverse engineering teams across multiple domains and geographies
Demonstrated success in setting engineering vision and translating it into an executable roadmap
Track record of delivering complex projects at scale, with strong program management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across the organization
Passion for building high-performance, inclusive teams and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
