Financial Systems Architect
American Capital Group, a leader in real estate development based in Bellevue, Washington, is seeking a Financial Systems Architect. The role involves owning and architecting financial systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting, and building automated workflows to enhance financial processes.

Responsibilities
Own and architect Sage Intacct, IMS, and Power BI with a focus on financial data integrity and reporting
Design and maintain financial system integrations for accurate, timely data flow
Build automated, AI-enabled financial workflows to reduce manual work and strengthen controls
Develop Power BI financial models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for leadership and operations
Partner with Finance and Accounting to translate requirements into scalable system solutions
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and performance analysis through strong data architecture
Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy through automation and enhancements
Manage financial system upgrades, testing, and change management
Maintain financial systems documentation, data definitions, and process maps
Guide future-state financial systems architecture and technology roadmap
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5-8+ years of hands-on system ownership experience
Experience supporting or integrating Sage Intacct
Experience building automated financial reporting, forecasting, or analytics solutions
Experience with Power BI
Experience designing or implementing AI-driven automation or analytics solutions
Background in environments emphasizing financial controls, audit readiness, and data governance
Experience supporting multi-entity or complex organizational structures
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficient in effective communication and teamwork
Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach
Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work
Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
