Responsibilities
Lead product development cycle from conception to sunset
Keep up with market and industry trends to understand current and future customer needs for assigned product(s)
Create and maintain PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) and user stories
Break down requirements into clear acceptance criteria for cross functional team
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Track industry standards and ensure product(s) adherence
Prioritize product backlog and effectively lead cross functional team for timely releases
Collect and interpret Voice of Industry and Voice of Customer data
Develop and maintain DCC product strategy. Communicate often and clearly using product roadmap(s) that encompass complete product lifecycle(s) and product specifications that direct product development activities
Develop business case(s) for VAVE, product feature additions, and new product development
Participate in populating an innovation funnel based on market and industry trends, customer feedback, lessons learnt, etc
Actively engage in priority setting for product additions or improvements and in bid decisions for existing products or new product development
Lead product commercialization activities and engage resources for the completion of key tasks such as creation of product literature, tools and pricing
Post launch, continue to own and action the product roadmap and establish activity schedule accordingly (e.g. Case Studies, VAVE, Catalog Expansion, Feature Additions, etc.)
Create product metrics, measure product success, define follow up actions, etc
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
3+ years of relevant work experience, with experience in the Data Center and HVAC industry preferred
Demonstrated experience with product development product management practices
Preferred
Experience in a start-up environment a plus
