Associate, Process Manager (Brand)
Capital One is seeking a process oriented individual with a passion for continuous improvement to join the Enterprise Brand Governance team. The role involves leading brand protection and domain management processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive consistency and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Day to day oversight of our brand protection and domain management processes
Manage our corporate registrar relationship with our internal and external partners
Monitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives, and make recommendations on changes. Collect and analyze data for supporting recommendations
Collect, analyze, and measure process performance data, to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and for reporting to senior leadership and executives; review data for trends and gaps in the process that may require additional review
Collaborate on project teams and broader enterprise initiatives to represent business for changes that may impact department processes. May participate in cross-functional project teams, including projects driven by other parts of the organization, to provide input, liaise with training, and partner with groups on execution efforts
Resolve complex problems, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate breakdowns in the process by asking the right questions and identify/involve the right stakeholders to correct breakdowns
Build/maintain formal process documents (e.g. policies, standards, official stances, procedures, presentations, and diagrams)
Drive collaboration, set direction, manage expectations, and lead cross-functional teams
Ensure independent escalation of risks, gaps, issues, non-compliance, and concerns to executive management and functional areas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Change Management, or Risk Management
Preferred
Experience in brand protection or managing a domain portfolio
Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals and ability to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
At least 1 year of Financial industry experience or highly regulated industry
