Traffic Engineering Associate I
RS&H is one of the nation’s leading architecture, engineering, and consulting firms, and they are seeking an entry-level Engineer Associate to join their team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will support engineering staff on traffic and transportation projects, assisting with various tasks including traffic control plans and transportation planning.

Responsibilities
Assisting with traffic control and construction phasing plans
ITS designs
Traffic signal and lighting layouts
Signing and pavement marking plans
Preparing technical documents
Conducting analyses
Coordinating with clients throughout various stages of project development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience
Ability to work independently with general supervision as well as within a collaborative team environment and the willingness to work with different teams to meet project deadlines
Have a passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn about traffic engineering planning and design
Possess solid oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with team members and other key stakeholders
Experience using Microsoft Office software
Preferred
Engineer in Training (EIT)
Coursework and/or recent project experience that includes Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, and Traffic Engineering
Experience with traffic engineering designs (signals, lighting, signing, and pavement markings)
Experience with traffic analysis tools (HCS, Synchro, and Sidra) and traffic simulation modeling (TransModeler and VISSIM)
Previous internship experience
