Participating in and ultimately managing litigation matters from initial pleadings through trial
Appearing for conferences, oral argument, and other proceedings
Developing case strategies and proactively communicating with clients, adversaries, and court staff
Conducting and defending depositions, including preparation of clients for depositions
Participating in settlement negotiations and mediations
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar (required)
4+ years of relevant litigation experience
Preferred
Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus
Knowledge of New York Supreme Court and Surrogate's Court procedures is preferred
