Responsibilities
Build intelligent experiences that help users understand symptoms and navigate to the right level of care (ER, Urgent Care, Primary Care), preventing unnecessary visits and reducing out-of-pocket costs
Develop conversational AI that helps users understand lab results, diagnoses, and treatment plans—providing 24/7 support with clarity and empathy
Create systems that analyze claims and behavioral data to drive personalized outreach for screenings, medication adherence, and preventive care
Advance internal AI capabilities across prompt orchestration, context engineering, retrieval systems, agent workflows, and evaluation frameworks
Qualification
Required
Experience shipping production AI-powered products end-to-end
Strong product mindset with a track record of owning 0→1 features
Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications in production
Strong backend experience with Python and relational databases (Postgres)
Experience designing LLM agents, workflows, or autonomous systems
Pragmatic approach to LLM safety, reliability, and evaluation (guardrails, red-teaming, latency/cost tradeoffs)
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high ownership
Fluency using AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot)
Preferred
Experience with TypeScript and React
Familiarity deploying AI workloads on AWS or similar cloud platforms
Background in healthcare, fintech, insurance, or other regulated domains
