Responsibilities
Leads technical teams for installations and repairs, within or across technical trades specialty
Has the ability to manage, oversee, schedule and assign tasks to one or more multiple jobs
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment while performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time
Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change while maintaining effective customer communications and relations
May provide onsite training of customer support personnel
Qualification
Required
High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 6 years of related experience to include at least 2 years of team/deck lead experience
Foundational knowledge in at least one skilled trade discipline, such as electrical, mechanical, or other relevant specialty
Proficient with safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment
Must understand the Tag out Procedure
Must exhibit leadership experience and past work experience managing teams performing trades
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD confidential security clearance and maintain clearance level throughout employment
Must be able to obtain base access credentials within 60 days of start date and maintain credentials throughout employment
Must be able to provide hand tools per trade designation
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred
Prefer technical/professional certifications in the mechanical field
Educational Background in ventilation systems operation
Exhibit leadership skills, communication skills, and ethical decision-making
Candidates who has graduated from and/or completed a vocational school, apprenticeship program or a skilled trades certificate program are preferred
Candidate with a current or active DoD clearance preferred
Candidate with a current OSHA 10 Maritime Certification
Candidate with a NAVSEA Cableway Improvement certification
Candidate with previous Multi-Pin Connector experience
