Lead Compliance Specialist

ASSYST is seeking a versatile Lead Compliance Specialist to join our Cybersecurity team for our upcoming project with our federal client in Rockville, MD. This role is responsible for leading Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) activities using the NIST Risk Management Framework and ensuring compliance with FISMA requirements.

Responsibilities

Leading Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) activities using the NIST Risk Management Framework
Ensuring compliance with FISMA requirements
Processing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and System of Records Notices (SORNs)
Understanding of FISMA, NIST standards, and federal privacy laws, including the Privacy Act of 1974 and HIPAA

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience
