This role involves overseeing all general accounting functions and financial reporting for the group’s insurance and reinsurance entities, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and submission of all required filings with the NAIC and state agencies, including Yellow Book and statutory reporting
Design and maintain internal controls and policies that remain compliant with both US GAAP and Statutory requirements
Manage high-level interactions with AM Best, the NAIC, and state agencies (e.g., FL DOR)
Build, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of accountants
Qualification
Required
An active CPA license is required
7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on the insurance sector
Proven experience with Yellow Book filings, statutory reporting, and managing AM Best
