Sunrise Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Conversion Lead to plan and execute data migration activities for a Tax System Modernization program. This role ensures accurate, complete, and secure conversion of legacy tax data into a modern platform and supports system releases and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data conversion strategy aligned with release timelines
Define and validate data mapping, transformation rules, and ETL processes
Coordinate with vendors, SMEs, DBAs, architects, and testing teams
Oversee data quality, reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution
Support UAT, training, mock conversions, and production cutover activities
Maintain data mapping, conversion documentation, and status reporting
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and retention standards

Required

5+ years of data conversion / data migration leadership experience
Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and Erwin Data Modeler
Experience with large-scale legacy-to-modern system conversions
Proven skills in data quality analysis, remediation, and reconciliation
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Knowledge of government tax or revenue systems preferred
