VP Strategic Client Development

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in logistics, seeking a VP of Strategic Client Development. This role is primarily responsible for managing client relationships, executing global business plans, and ensuring maximum service delivery across all business units to drive growth and retention.

Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for client relationship and management
Propose, monitor, and execute agreed global business plan primarily for assigned, existing key clients to strengthen retention and drive sustained, organic growth
Engage with all business units across all stations, domestic and global, to ensure maximum service delivery and provide excellent partnership
Understand and articulate the organizational layers and decision-making strategies of client business with the purpose of aligning organization structure to effectively operate within the agreed scope
Responsible for executive review and strategy meetings
Oversee global business plan with continuous development and growth at the forefront
Drive the RFQ process and response, liaising closely with leadership, product, operations and regional stakeholders
Facilitate contract/work order negotiations liaising with client as well as corporate stakeholders
Provide financial forecasting of key clients to the executive team for budgeting and planning
Responsible for financial wellbeing and overall client experience
Translate growth aspirations into actionable strategies
Package and present investment opportunities to all levels of leadership for challenge and approval
Oversee and guide transaction structuring, negotiation and diligence efforts
Reporting and analytics (internally and externally) as required by client(s) and Crane Worldwide leadership

Required

High School diploma/GED Required
Bachelor's Degree in business management or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in field
Minimum 6 years of industry experience required
Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience required
Capable Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
Willingness to challenge the status quo
Proven ability to act as a constructive change agent
Ability to develop and execute creative strategies and solutions

Preferred

Professional certification may be required in some areas
