IT Technician (Entry Level)

Legacy Capital Services is a national consumer rights law firm dedicated to helping Americans achieve financial freedom from burdensome debt. The IT Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's computer systems and technology infrastructure to ensure efficient business operations.

Outsourcing/Offshoring

Responsibilities

Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for end-users who encounter computer or technology-related issues
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware (e.g., desktops, laptops, servers) and software (e.g., operating systems, applications)
Setting up and managing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and WIFI management to ensure reliable connectivity
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect against viruses, malware, data breaches, and other cyber threats
Regularly backing up data and developing recovery procedures to minimize data loss in case of system failure
Keeping systems and software up to date with the latest patches and upgrades to maintain security and functionality
Keeping track of IT assets, such as: computers, servers, and networking equipment
Maintaining records, manuals, and documentation related to IT systems and procedures
Providing remote assistance to users who are not physically present at the office
Working closely with other IT professionals and departments to address complex technical challenges and implement technology solutions
Assist users with password resets and account issues. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls

Qualification

CompTIA A+Network+Security+Software troubleshootingNetwork administrationCybersecurity awarenessCustomer service orientationProblem-solving skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Associate degree or Bachelor's degree, highly preferred
Prior experience in IT support or help desk
CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ certifications highly preferred
Proficiency in software troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
Knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions
Familiarity with network administration principles and protocols
Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work extended hours
Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds

Preferred

Associate degree or Bachelor's degree, highly preferred
CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ certifications highly preferred
