Responsibilities
Responsible for management and contract performance of a program or elements of a program
Responsible for complex programs
Manages and directs assigned program, which includes defining and understanding program scope, managing overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and L3Harris/Aerojet Rocketdyne policies
Assures through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers
Develops and implements plans for follow-on production programs including proposal development, submittal, negotiation, and definitization
Provides guidance and assistance to the project team in meeting established schedules or resolving complex technical or operations problems
Responsible for effectively utilizing functional organizations to integrate research and development, production, quality assurance, test, production support, procurement, contractual and financial data
Up to 25% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites
Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant program management experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience, or 10 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification or equivalent
Demonstrated managerial level of leadership
Extensive knowledge of financial management and business development practices
Experience with DoD contract execution and earned value management
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
