Field Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Support design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems
Work with AC power systems , including UPS units and standby generators
Support implementation and troubleshooting of DC telecom power systems and battery solutions
Participate in site assessments, system testing, and performance evaluations
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure technical and safety compliance
Contribute to technical documentation and engineering reports

Required

4–10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer (Engineer III or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Demonstrated experience with AC power distribution systems
Hands-on exposure to UPS systems and generators
Experience working with DC telecommunications power systems and battery technologies
Must be located in Alaska; Anchorage, Wasilla, or Eagle River preferred

Preferred

EIT or Professional Engineering (PE) license
