Responsibilities
Interpret design criteria and customer specifications to plan and draft detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
Generate 3D models of equipment, machinery, or systems using AutoCAD Inventor
Assist with assembly, installation, or initial testing/verification of designs as needed
Collaborate with engineers and field teams to support modifications, updates, and design improvements
Support project teams with technical documentation, equipment lists, and other design-related deliverables
Qualification
Required
3-5 years experience with 2D drafting and 3D modeling in AutoCAD/Inventor
Familiarity with technical standards relevant to electrical or mechanical systems (e.g., UL, NEC, ISO, ASME)
Understanding of mechanical systems, electrical layouts, instrumentation, or industrial machinery
Ability to perform basic calculations for design considerations such as dimensions, loads, clearances, or system requirements
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and specifications
Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and willingness to work closely with customers and other team members in a group environment
