Responsibilities

In this role, you will work closely with a team of experts in AI, software engineering, and systems development to gain hands-on experience and build your skills
You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives, and will have the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by experienced professionals
You will regularly contribute to the development of solutions that drive continuous improvement, inform data-driven decision making, and help the organization stay ahead of the curve

Required

Proven full-stack software development experience
Experienced in agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
Experience deploying applications on cloud-based platforms and containerization (e.g., Harbor, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS)
Working knowledge of LLMs and/or Generative AI (knowledge of what they are and how they are used)
Stakeholder engagement experience – able to represent the organization on technical matters
US Citizenship is required due to program requirements and system access
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field or equivalent education/experience

Preferred

Coding/development experience with React, typescript, and Python (advanced proficiency, can mentor others)
Experience with graph‑database concepts and at least 3 years of hands‑on work with Neo4j (or comparable graph DB)
Practical experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
Practical knowledge in RAG methodologies including Vector databases (e.g., chromadb, Weaviate, OpenSearch, pgvector)
Practical experience with production level LLM Tool Calling workflows
Design and delivery experience in RESTFul API Development & Integration
Knowledge of Model Context Protocol
Regular and strategic use of GenAI Coding Assistants
Proficiency in at least two other languages (e.g., Java, C++, Go, Rust) with contributions to core services written in those languages
Ability to design optimal graph schemas, write efficient graph database queries, and integrate graph data into applications
Excellent communication and liaison experience with external partners, customers, and cross‑functional stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML or related field
