Responsibilities
Responsible for the identification of charge and reimbursement errors, charge correction, interfaces with other Departments on issues related to charge capture and reimbursement, and overseeing daily manual charges
Provides data and analysis for budget development and adherence in the areas of pharmaceutical supplies
Responsible for day-to-day monitoring of the 340B accumulations for the inpatient, home care and retail pharmacies to ensure accuracy
Provides advanced knowledge of billing and charge capture with respect to the 340B program
Qualification
Required
H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
3 Years of Experience
Registered Pharm Tech
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook programs
Knowledge of MediCal and MediCare reimbursement for pharmaceuticals
Related experience of three years in Business or Patient Financial Services
Knowledge of CPT and HCPCS codes for pharmaceutical reimbursement
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
