Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
Work with Python and JavaScript-based backends (Node.js), while remaining open to other languages and technologies
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate internal and external services
Contribute to system architecture, scalability, and performance improvements
Work with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optimize queries and data models
Ensure high code quality, security best practices, and maintainable systems
Qualification
Required
Strong backend engineering experience (minimum 5-6 years), independent of a specific language or framework
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js)
Solid understanding of backend fundamentals: API design, Data modeling, Authentication & authorization, Performance and scalability
Experience working with relational databases and complex business logic
Experience with microservice architectures
Experience with Golang
Exposure to AI-related systems, data pipelines, or AI-driven features
