Director of Procurement
Kinaxis is a global leader in end-to-end supply chain management, dedicated to helping companies optimize their supply chains. They are seeking a Director of Procurement to lead their global procurement function, establish procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and oversee purchasing processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Define and maintain enterprise-wide procurement strategies aligned with business and financial objectives
Establish, communicate, and govern procurement policies, standards, and procedures across the global organization ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements
Own relationships with strategic and critical suppliers
Oversee vendor performance, contract compliance, and issue resolution
Establish and maintain a global vendor management framework in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Oversee end-to-end purchasing workflows to ensure efficiency, consistency, and transparency
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation
Identify and mitigate third-party and supplier related risks in alignment with enterprise risk management standards
Lead or support complex commercial negotiations in partnership with Legal and Finance
Oversee sourcing activities including tenders, bids, quotations, and contract finalization
Qualification
Required
Professional certification such as NISCL-CSCL (National Institute of Supply Chain Leaders – Certified Supply Chain Leader, previously the CSCMP), or equivalent
10-15 years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of global sourcing, contract management, and compliance standards
Demonstrated capability in negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite), procurement and contract management tools (e.g. Ironclad) and familiarity with IT Service Management tools
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to integrity, operational rigor, and continuous improvement
