ACUTE CARE AND RESIDENCE SYSTEMS DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Cumberland County Guidance Center is a primary mental health support agency in Cumberland County, NJ, dedicated to providing compassionate care for over 60 years. They are seeking an Acute Care and Residence Systems Director of Operations to ensure compliance with regulations, provide administrative and clinical oversight, and enhance service delivery across various mental health programs.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) regulations, policies, and procedures are met across the PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), PESS (Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services), and Residential Services programs
Provide administrative and clinical oversight, monitor consumer needs and trends, authorize treatment extensions in collaboration with Program Managers, and support effective, client-centered service delivery
Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with agency personnel practices, and support the development and implementation of appropriate treatment modalities
Play a vital leadership role in guiding teams, enhancing clinical outcomes, and promoting high-quality mental health care in the community
Demonstrate competency in delivering Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Universal Substance Abuse Screening, effectively engaging individuals served through engagement, assessment, and intervention

Qualification

Master's Degree in Mental HealthLPCLCSWClinical SupervisionMotivational InterviewingCognitive Behavioral TherapyCommunity-Based Care KnowledgeCommunication SkillsTeam Collaboration

Required

Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field
Three years of post-graduate work experience in a mental health or related field with clinical training
Minimum two years of experience supervising a program delivering clinical services
Strong oral and written communication skills
Thorough knowledge of the mental health field and a commitment to community-based care
Willingness to work a 40-hour flexible schedule with on-call responsibilities
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
Valid automobile driver's license with MVR meeting agency standards
A Background Check is required
Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organizations carrier
