Responsibilities
Lead a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering secure and compliant payment solutions
Partner with Risk Management to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks within the Card Inbound Payments platform
Collaborate with Product Management and Technology teams to integrate effective controls into the design and development of new and existing payment features
Oversee the project management lifecycle for control-related initiatives, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and adherence to quality standards
Drive the implementation of preventive controls to minimize risk events and improve operational efficiency
Manage projects related to payment modernization efforts, ensuring seamless transitions, robust control coverage, and minimal customer impact
Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining a strong focus on compliance
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments, including Risk, Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to track progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
Champion a culture of risk awareness and proactive problem-solving within the team and across stakeholder groups
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 4 years of Project Management experience
At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
At least 2 years of People Management experience
Strong understanding of payment processing, risk management, and control frameworks
Exceptional project management skills
Collaborative mindset
Ability to effectively communicate and influence across diverse teams
Passion for delivering secure, reliable, and customer-centric payment experiences
Preferred
Master's Degree or MBA
5+ years of Project Management experience
5+ years of experience with project management platforms (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence)
4+ years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
3+ years of People Management experience
Lean, Agile, Six Sigma or Business Process Management
