Responsibilities
Lead the refactoring of the Location Master data model within Informatica MDM , defining new tables and structures while maintaining linkages to legacy tables
Develop a scoped data migration strategy to transition from the existing model to the new model with minimal disruption
Design and implement mechanisms to cascade updates from the UI to both old and new data models, ensuring end-to-end data consistency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to data synchronization and downstream system impact
Define and enforce best practices for data modeling , including entity relationships, hierarchies, multi-valued attributes, and version control
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and validate the new data model against business needs
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering data architecture, migration plans, data flows, and integration points
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling, with a strong focus on MDM implementations and migrations
Strong expertise in Informatica MDM (10.x or later), including: Business entities, Workflows, Data model configuration, Provisional UI, IDD and rules frameworks
Proven track record of designing and executing scoped migration strategies while maintaining synchronization between legacy and new data models
Deep understanding of Location Master or similar domain data modeling requirements
Strong hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL, data integration, and ETL processes
Demonstrated ability to manage complex data synchronization, versioning, and coexistence challenges
