Business Development Representative
Pax Recruiting is assisting a well-established service business in Austin to hire its first dedicated Commercial Business Development Representative. This role focuses on building a commercial division from the ground up through cold outreach and relationship management, significantly impacting the growth of the business.

Responsibilities
Cold calling, door knocking, and proactive outreach
Networking with property managers, HOA boards, and industry partners
Attending events and building long-term relationships
Establishing the company’s presence in the commercial maintenance market
Over time, transitioning from heavy prospecting to relationship management and referrals
Qualification
Required
Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and rejection
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter mindset — you create momentum
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass background and drug screening
Familiarity with Austin (or willingness to learn it quickly)
Preferred
Landscaping or maintenance industry experience
Deep knowledge of HOA operations
