Responsibilities
Lead the development, integration and support of complex software products
Provide technical leadership for a product’s software platform in support of new product development, feature creation, defect reduction, reliability improvement and product sustaining activities
Manage project timelines, estimate project requirement and manage matrix assigned resource allocations
Act as the primary point of contact and bridge between the engineering team, marketing, sales and the customer
Develop and order roadmap items on a high level to maximize business value, considering factors like return on investment (ROI) and customer needs
Maintain open and consistent communication with customers, stakeholders, and the development team
Work closely with designers, developers, and scrum masters to ensure the product meets business objectives
Have the authority to make decisions on the product's direction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
7+ years developing and sustaining software solutions in a fast-paced environment
3–5+ years of experience in a formal engineering leader role
Strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and lean software development
Proven ability to translate user needs into technical solutions and balance product features with technical debt
