Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive training modules, eLearning courses, and other instructional content for delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS)
Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging learning materials (presentations, job aids, videos, quizzes, and assessments)
Collaborate with the curriculum team to contribute to K–12 student lesson development and revisions when needed, ensuring consistency between tutor training and student learning materials
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and tutors to identify training needs and develop appropriate instructional solutions
Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create impactful learning experiences
Regularly update and revise training materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards
Monitor training effectiveness through learner feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; recommend improvements based on results
Manage and upload training materials into the LMS, ensuring proper functionality, accessibility, and tracking capabilities
Stay informed about emerging trends in instructional technology, digital learning tools, and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related field (Master's preferred)
2–5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or content creation
Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Rise, or similar)
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or TalentLMS)
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience collaborating with SMEs and diverse teams
Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
Experience in both K–12 education and adult learning environments required
Understanding of K–12 instructional practices, curriculum standards (e.g., CCSS), and classroom pedagogy
Portfolio required: Applicants must submit 2–3 samples of trainings or learning materials they have developed (e.g., LMS module, slide deck, video, or eLearning sample) that demonstrate instructional design skills and clarity of communication
