Responsibilities
Greet all guests and members promptly and politely, and by name whenever possible
Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including preparation and components of each dish and allergens
Assist with any member or guest issues and concerns in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner
Prepared to run food, clear tables, reset any China, glassware, or silverware as needed
Support the rest of the team for efficient service
Carefully input all orders into the point-of-sale system and ensure accuracy of check throughout service
Prioritize communication with all team members and managers during service
Complete all opening and closing procedures as instructed
Maintain an eye for detail, including checking all areas of the restaurant for garbage, dishes, and glassware
Assist with execution of departmental goals and objectives
Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks
Maintain all equipment and be sure it is handled properly
Adhere to all company policy and procedures
Qualification
Required
Six (6) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs
Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length
Required to read, write, speak, and understand English
Required to work indoors and outdoors
Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours
Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull. May be required to lift and carry items that are sometimes greater than 50 pounds
Knowledge of safe food handling practices
Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer

Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
