Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is hiring a Paid Philanthropy Intern! The Philanthropy Intern will provide a student interested in pursuing a career in nonprofit fundraising and/or nonprofit management with an opportunity to work behind the scenes in one of the most successful philanthropy offices in Maine.

Responsibilities
Assist the Philanthropy team in daily operations
Assist in the planning and implementation of philanthropy events
Work on projects related to donor engagement and campaign materials
Promote membership, interfacing with members and donors at our membership desk
Work collaboratively with a team of staff, interns, and volunteers
Qualification
Required
Interest in learning about operations and fundraising for nonprofit organizations
Experience using Microsoft 365, specifically Excel; data entry experience is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently
Organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and pay attention to detail
