Responsibilities
Support software development activities by writing clean, maintainable code following established standards
Assist in testing, debugging, and updating existing software applications
Help gather and clarify basic technical requirements from engineers and stakeholders
Perform routine troubleshooting and provide fixes under supervision
Contribute to code reviews primarily as a learner, incorporating feedback into future work
Develop small features or enhancements within well-defined technical specifications
Assist with documentation of code, processes, and system behavior
Learn and follow Agile development processes and team workflows
Support basic embedded programming tasks, such as simple C/C++ modules
Participate in maintaining development tools, repositories, and project assets
Stay current on tools, technologies, and best practices relevant to assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Basic programming experience with one or more languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, or Java)
Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop technical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Exposure to embedded systems or microcontroller-based development (e.g., Microchip PIC or similar)
Basic understanding of communication protocols like UART, SPI, or I²C
Familiarity with reading simple electrical diagrams or hardware concepts
Introductory experience with unit testing or automated testing frameworks
Understanding of cloud platforms or web technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, REST APIs)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments
