Responsibilities
Own daily engagement across core social and community platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Discord, etc.), fostering genuine connection and conversation
Lead social listening: monitor trends, sentiment, cultural moments, and audience feedback; actively engage with community members and the broader wellness space
Execute digital engagement strategy: partner with Brand and Studio teams to activate content, campaigns, and brand moments in-feed, natively, and in real time
Create reactive/community-driven content: occasionally appear on camera and contribute to timely, authentic moments
Support occasional IRL presence: participate in virtual events or occasional on-site shoots/activations (travel minimal and reimbursed if required)
Collaborate cross-functionally: translate community insights into actionable recommendations for content, campaigns, and brand decisions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in digital community building for a consumer brand (DTC, wellness, lifestyle, or CPG preferred)
Deep fluency across major social platforms and community tools (Instagram, TikTok, Discord, etc.)
Comfortable and confident being on camera, representing the brand authentically
Legally authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship available)
Preferred
Have experience growing owned communities for fast-moving wellness or DTC brands
Are highly active in digital culture and stay ahead of trends, memes, and platform shifts
Bring strong on-camera presence and natural, relatable content creation skills
Have worked in fully remote or distributed teams with cross-functional collaboration (brand, content, studio/production)
Are excited to support occasional IRL events or shoots (with flexibility and travel support if needed)
Are open to a long-term permanent opportunity if the fit is exceptional (contract-to-hire path available)
