This role involves working with health claims data and requires strong technical aptitude to translate complex data inputs into clear insights for clients.

Responsibilities
Develop a working understanding of each client’s wellbeing program configuration, including products such as coaching, software applications, incentives, and other services
Partner with account managers and internal teams to understand client goals and success criteria
Review claims data assessments prepared by technical teams, identifying available data fields and gaps
Evaluate which missing data elements are critical based on the client’s specific product mix
Coordinate with internal teams and external insurers or TPAs to request additional claims data when necessary
Work comfortably with large datasets, tables, and data fields
Analyze claims data at a high level to identify trends related to wellbeing outcomes
Validate data completeness and consistency in collaboration with technical teams
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and client-facing stakeholders
Translate claims data findings into clear, client-ready narratives that support ROI discussions
Support account managers with insights that demonstrate the value of wellbeing programs
Support the review and analysis of a backlog of approximately 100 client accounts
Help the organization determine how much of the workload can be absorbed by existing teams after the initial spike
Qualification
Required
Proven experience working with health insurance or health claims data
Strong understanding of benefits terminology, plan structures, and claims concepts
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in implementation, client onboarding, or technical consulting roles
Preferred
Working knowledge of SQL (ability to validate or review data with technical teams)
Experience in wellbeing, population health, benefits administration, or healthcare technology
Prior experience working with third-party insurers or TPAs
