Structural Project Engineer: High-End Single-Family Homes Specialist
KL&A Engineers and Builders is seeking a Structural Project Engineer specializing in high-end single-family homes. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, construction managers, and architects to deliver innovative structural designs while providing mentorship to junior staff members.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including engineers, construction managers, steel detailers, and top-tier architects, to develop innovative structural solutions
Utilize creative problem-solving skills and a mastery of structural design to overcome challenges and achieve unique architectural visions
Work closely with highly skilled builders and craftsmen, demonstrating a passion for excellence in every aspect of the design and construction process
Represent the organization through client interactions and any industry events attended
Provide technical training and career mentorship to support the professional development of junior staff members
Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualification
Required
ABET accredited degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering
Colorado Licensed PE, SE, or ability to pursue licensure within 6 months of hire
4-8 years of design experience across various building types
Proficiency in structural design with a variety of materials, including wood, steel, concrete, and masonry
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship, both presently and in the future
Preferred
Proficiency in Revit Structures
Experience with RAM and/or RISA analysis models
