Accounting
Responsibilities
Greet and assist clients in person, by phone, and via email in a professional and courteous manner
Answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries related to tax returns, accounting, payroll, and firm processes
Explain completed tax returns at a high level and guide clients through common questions
Direct complex or technical issues to appropriate accountants or managers as needed
Maintain confidentiality of all client information
Support tax season operations and administrative needs
Manage the firm’s client database and document management system
Send, receive, upload, and organize client documents
Ensure files are complete and properly routed to the appropriate team members

Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of accounting, and tax returns processes
Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional demeanor and client-first mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook Calendar, Excel, Word)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Associates Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
2+ years of experience in a CPA firm, accounting office, or professional services environment preferred
Proficiency with accounting databases, document portals, and office software
