IT Project Manager - ERP Integration Specialist

Northern Plains Rail Services is focused on optimizing ERP integrations and ensuring cybersecurity. The IT Project Manager – ERP Integration Specialist will lead IT projects, provide cross-functional IT support, and manage ERP system upgrades and security assessments.

Responsibilities

Direct design and continued development of both new and existing integrations with external and key internal resources
Own, Project Manage and direct ERP system upgrades including impact to existing integrations and other integrated products
Support end users of Acumatica system
Continue to improve and uphold policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company's digital assets from cyber threats
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions for improvement
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively mitigate risks
Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for optimization and automation
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria
Generate actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis to support strategic decision-making
Own project management of specific IT related projects
Support the day-to-day operation of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance
Provide end user support for hardware, software, network connectivity in conjunction with IT specialist resource
Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with vendors, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to maximize value and efficiency to the organization
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in cybersecurity and data protection
Enforce IT policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard sensitive information and ensure data integrity. Establish or update these policies, procedures and controls as the organization’s business evolves

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ Years) in IT roles with a focus on ERP implementation
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics) and proficiency in system configuration and customization
Must possess a Valid Driver's License
Must have and maintain an insurable driving status which includes but is not limited to NPRS driver provisions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience with ERP systems; Acumatica strongly preferred
Experience working with an ERP VAR; Acumatica preferred
Experience with reporting tools such as Acumatica Reporting, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), or Crystal Reports
Experience with hardware and software configuration
Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
Work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are a plus
