Responsibilities

Lead the design process for projects from conceptualization to execution, ensuring adherence to client vision and project goals
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions that enhance educational environments
Prepare and present design proposals, including plans and renderings, to clients and stakeholders
Coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure alignment on design intent and project execution
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and provide insights for design development
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into design solutions

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably in PreK-12 education projects
Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
