Responsibilities
Transmission and preparation of classified material to include package preparation, authoring transportation plans, providing courier guidance and training to internal employees, and maintaining inventory/control of classified material in storage
COMSEC Responsible Officer: Maintain NSA COMSEC account; perform custodian duties
Research and implement National and Department of Defense security regulations, maintaining knowledge, and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements
Ability to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures with contacts inside and outside own team
Recognize and report security violations and prepare reports. Able to specify prevention actions to be taken
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Active Secret US Security Clearance
Preferred
Security Information Management System (SIMS)
Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
Initiative in pursuing problems, opportunities, and innovative solutions while maintaining security compliance
Ability to implement compliance programs
Experience and practical knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and applicable DoD Directives
Able to work well as part of a team
Solid time management skills to achieve operational targets and contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects
Experience with Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems, able to respond and assess alarms during off-duty hours
Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, customer relationship building skills, and analytical skills
Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of implementing industrial security requirements within own job area
Practical knowledge of job area including 32 CFR 117, DoD 5200, and any relevant regulations
