Responsibilities

Work with the Director of Operational Excellence, the General Counsel, the Chief Information Officer, the Chief Information Security Officer, and other stakeholders to establish, implement, and communicate formal sourcing and procurement policies, processes, and systems throughout the purchasing life cycle
Negotiating agreements with vendors that achieve the optimal combination of service, cost, quality, and risk mitigation, in consultation with the General Counsel and other stakeholders
Implement and establish vendor management policies and governance including, but not limited to, assessment, on-boarding, risk, ESG standards, performance monitoring, [SRR3] policy compliance, and communication
Support the development, implementation, and improvement of systems to support the contract lifecycle management policies and processes
Work closely with the Budget team to create an annual buying plan for the firm, aligning with the annual budget and project governance processes
Efficiently deploy competitive sourcing strategies by collaborating with subject matter experts, performing business analysis, developing requirements, and drafting bid documentation
Initiate and lead efforts to source a diverse range of products and services
Establish, maintain, and communicate effective KPI reporting on DEI initiatives and other sourcing strategies/initiatives
Perform industry research as it relates to suppliers, competitors, markets, and industry verticals

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field required
5+ years of procurement experience in an agile environment
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in analytical programs and MS Excel
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Solid project management and project leadership capabilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective working relationship building with personnel at all levels
Demonstrated ability to collaborate as an effective team member and with minimal supervision to maximize team results

Preferred

Recognized Procurement certification in CIPS, ISM or other professional purchasing organization a plus
Experience in applying ESG standards to vendors a plus
Existing knowledge of general indirect procurement commodities, including operations, facilities, services, and other non-technology related areas
