Responsibilities
Manage purchase orders, including category SKU replenishment and ongoing PO adjustments based on changes in demand and supply capacity
Conduct weekly purchase order reviews to align inventory levels with forecasted demand and supplier constraints
Support new product development (NPD) inventory positioning and fulfillment execution
Perform inventory portfolio reviews to identify distribution center balancing needs, inventory conversions, and excess inventory depletion requirements
Maintain inventory portfolio master data, including regular review and updates of item parameters
Monitor inventory performance metrics and develop corrective action plans as needed
Participate in weekly S&OP meetings and leverage outputs to proactively reposition inventory levels
Create, maintain, and enhance inventory and supply chain reports to support decision-making
Qualification
Required
Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, or currently enrolled in a master's program
Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Needham, MA
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Structured and consistent in order to sustain the weekly order management process
Capacity to learn and navigate through new applications quickly and efficiently
Ability to multi-task and time manage independently
Ability to seamlessly communicate and elevate any issues that require attention and corrective actions
Strong technical skills (specifically Excel)
Highly collaborative with the ability to engage and lead discussions in meetings/team settings
