InternLEO A DALY is an integrated design practice that values collaboration and diverse perspectives. As a Summer Intern, you will assist in architectural design tasks under the supervision of registered architects, contributing to various projects including new construction and renovations.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Assists to design and specify project-appropriate architecture requirements
Performs Revit modeling and detailing
Assists to conduct site investigations and observations
Assists to prepare narratives, architectural graphics, design presentations, boards, drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality, yet with regard to project schedule and budget constraints
Assists to perform cross-discipline discussions and coordination
Maintains knowledge of current industry trends on space, function, materials, sustainability, etc
Additional assignments may include attending client and internal meetings, assisting with performing construction contract administration, and assisting with marketing/business development activities
Qualification
Required
Must be working towards graduation of an accredited Architecture degree
Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills and knowledge of other building systems
Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-discipline team
Preferred
Proficiency with computer software including Revit Architecture, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketch-Up, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
Active involvement and demonstrated leadership skills in extracurricular activities on campus and in the community is preferred
