Responsibilities
Support quality planning activities during new product development, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and related deliverables
Ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and implemented to meet customer and industry standards
Monitor and analyze quality issues during production and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Use quality tools and data analysis to improve process capability and product consistency
Support continuous improvement initiatives using statistical methods and tools (SPC, MSA, etc.)
Handle customer complaints and organize structured problem-solving activities such as 8D and 5 Why analysis
Develop effective improvement plans, track implementation progress, and ensure closure with sustainable results
Communicate status, risks, and corrective actions clearly with internal stakeholders as needed
Support supplier quality management activities, including supplier audits, incoming inspection standards, and supplier performance evaluation
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues and improve overall quality performance
Prepare and maintain quality documentation (inspection work instructions, quality reports, inspection standards, etc.)
Assist with internal and external audits, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer audits, and support follow-up actions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Thermal Engineering, Quality, or related engineering fields
Experience in quality engineering or quality management within automotive components or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of quality management systems and tools such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive issue resolution
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good command of English (written and spoken) to communicate with customers and suppliers
Preferred
Familiarity with thermal management products (e.g., radiators, condensers, hoses, valves) is a plus
Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish is a plus
