Responsibilities
Conduct regular in-person visits with assigned provider practices to support engagement and performance goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, office managers, and clinical staff
Analyze and address risk-based metrics, including:
Health Benefit Ratio (HBR)
Emergency room utilization
High-cost utilization drivers
Educate providers on performance metrics, utilization trends, and opportunities for improvement
Support initiatives related to cost containment, care coordination, and quality improvement
Act as a trusted partner to providers, identifying barriers and facilitating solutions
Collaborate with internal teams including network management, quality, and operations
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of provider interactions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of in-person provider engagement experience
Experience working with risk-based healthcare models
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the territory
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with HEDIS and Quality Improvement initiatives
Background in value-based care environments
Knowledge of claims processing
Experience in: Managed Care organizations, Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), Independent Practice Associations (IPA)
