The role involves troubleshooting and performing basic PLC tasks while interacting with clients and project stakeholders to ensure project completion in various environments such as airports and manufacturing spaces.

Responsibilities
Extensive ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot issues, and produce electrical prints in design
Extensive ability to create control panels from electrical prints
Ability to provide and execute ideas that make control systems more efficient
Ability to observe systems, locate and resolve issues with control components
Extensive knowledge of electrical and controls devices and their application in systems
Knowledge of safety practices (use of PPE, situational dangers)
Proficient use of hand and powered tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, grinders, etc.)
Competent use of electrical testing devices (multi-meters)
Knowledge of common computer software (Microsoft Office, internet, etc.)
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or AS Degree with equivalent, applied experience
5 years experience in the electrical field
Excellent communication skills with the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
Ability to drive and have a clean driving record
Ability to work non-standard hours (nights and weekends)
Ability to travel locally with little or no notice
Ability to travel non-locally with notice (up to 30%)
Ability to get a passport and pass a background check
Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings
Present a professional demeanor and appearance
