Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development, and testing of mission-critical applications, including new applications and enhancements to existing systems
Develop designs that are as simple, fast, efficient, robust, easy to maintain, and easy to scale
Complete assigned responsibilities within multiple projects simultaneously
Complete all development responsibilities after high-level initial direction
Assist in preparing level of effort estimates
Independently remove significant project roadblocks
Guide and assist Developers to overcome technical problems while coaching on standards and expectations
Ensure high quality and timely delivery of software development lifecycle
Partner with QA resources throughout the software development lifecycle
Adhere to company coding standards, including unit testing and code reviews
Understand the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance
Provide production support as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field of study) or equivalent work experience plus 10 years of software development experience using the .NET Framework
Frameworks: .NET 3.5 and later
Programming Languages: C#, T-SQL
Database Platforms: SQL Server 2016 or later, DB2 for iSeries
Experience designing and/or developing web services using WCF and Web API
Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and time management skills
Familiar with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
Preferred
MVC a plus
Experience dealing with legacy applications and transitioning legacy systems to current architecture standards a plus
