Responsibilities
Develop new business by identifying, prospecting, and engaging employer groups
Build and manage a book of employee benefits clients
Serve as a trusted advisor to employers on benefits strategy, plan design, and market trends
Analyze client needs related to health, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
Present benefit proposals and recommendations to decision-makers
Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure competitive pricing and coverage
Partner with internal service teams to ensure smooth onboarding, renewals, and ongoing client support
Support clients with benefits communication, enrollment strategies, and compliance considerations
Qualification
Required
Experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or consultative sales
Strong relationship-building and business development skills
Ability to communicate complex benefits concepts clearly and confidently
Entrepreneurial mindset with motivation to grow and manage a client portfolio
Life & Health insurance license
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (business, finance, or related field a plus)
