Senior Solutions Consultant - Remote

Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on, client-facing HCM/HRIS services under contracted engagements, supporting implementations, system health checks and optimizations, Open Enrollment and annual updates, HRIS selection, RFP processes, and sales support as a subject matter expert
Services may include both advisory and hands-on execution activities as defined in client’s contracts
This is a billable role with utilization expectations aligned to client-contracted work
Serve as a client-side Senior Consultant, providing staff augmentation and acting as an extension of the client’s internal team
Perform hands-on system work, including configuration, testing, validation, documentation, issue resolution, and post-go-live support
Support HCM/HRIS implementations, including requirements review, data validation, testing coordination, parallel payroll support, and go-live readiness
Conduct system health checks, reviewing configuration, data integrity, security, workflows, integrations, and reporting; identify risks and execute approved optimizations
Lead or support Open Enrollment and annual plan updates, including benefit configuration changes, eligibility rules, rate updates, carrier file validation, testing, and audits
Support HRIS/HCM system selection and RFP processes, including requirements gathering, vendor evaluations, scoring, and participation in vendor demonstrations
Participate in sales and pre-sales calls as an HRIS Senior Consultant subject matter expert, supporting discovery, solution design, and proposal development
Develop and maintain project plans, task tracking, and status reporting, proactively identifying and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies
Ensure delivery aligns with contracted scope, timelines, and client expectations, while identifying potential opportunities and collaborating with internal sales teams
Share knowledge and best practices with internal teams, contributing to delivery standards, templates, and continuous improvement
Maintain current knowledge of HCM/HRIS platforms, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices
Travel to client (minimal, less than 10%) meetings, events, and company events as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Highly self-motivated with strong time management skills; able to work independently with minimal direction
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and consulting best practices, including development and maintenance of project, test, and cutover plans
Proficient in task management, collaboration, and project tracking tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between clients, system implementers, and internal teams
Ability to work effectively with executives, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders in a consulting environment
Proven ability to navigate difficult conversations related to scope, risk, timelines, and change, influencing outcomes without formal authority
Demonstrated judgment in balancing risk, recommendations, and competing priorities to support project success
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of related work experience, in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of progressive experience in roles such as Senior Consultant, HCM/HRIS Senior Analyst, AMS Lead, HCM Functional Business Analyst, or client-side system support role managing complex HR technology environments
Demonstrated experience in client-facing consulting or staff augmentation role, serving as an extension of client teams on HCM/HRIS initiatives and working in a combination of hands-on and advisory capacity
Proven experience supporting HCM/HRIS implementations, including requirements validation, configuration review, testing coordination, parallel payroll support, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization
Hands-on experience with system health checks, optimizations, and ongoing support, including configuration, data validation, security roles, workflows, integrations, and reporting
Experience supporting annual plan activities (open enrollment, performance and compensation cycles), including benefits configuration, eligibility rules, rate updates, carrier file testing, and audits
Experience supporting HRIS/HCM system selection and RFP processes, including requirements gathering, vendor evaluations, scoring, and vendor demonstrations
Experience working with multiple HCM/HRIS platforms such as ADP, BambooHR, Dayforce, Paylocity, Paycor, Paycom, UKG Pro/Ready, and Workday; deep expertise in one or more platforms preferred
Strong understanding of consulting delivery and project methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements
Experience collaborating with system implementers, vendors, and cross-functional client stakeholders
