Responsibilities
Lead the preparation, production and tracking of pitch materials, proposals and RFP responses
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner under tight deadlines
Produce written content maintaining the firm’s brand and tone, including formatting and graphics
Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders at all levels to gather and produce information for use in pitch and response materials
Gain mastery of firm and attorney experience pool, as well as historical index of prior pitch and response components
Support and facilitate general business development efforts, including research, opportunity spotting, event planning, award submissions, content creation, data management and training
Collaborate with the marketing team, attorneys, and professional staff on various projects and initiatives to strengthen client relationships, develop new business, market the firm’s services and further attorney development
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two - three years' experience in marketing, with preference given to candidates that have experience in law firms or other professional service environments
Excellent writing skills
Excellent oral communication skills across a variety of professional audiences
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills in order to effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Strong critical thinking, judgement and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to both work independently and collaborate flexibly as part of a small, cross-functional team
Work may be required outside of normal business hours to meet client requests
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience crafting proposals, pitches and RFP responses, and managing all aspects of the process from start to finish highly preferred
Familiarity with AP Style a plus
