Responsibilities
Act as a strategic financial partner to founders and executive teams
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive decisions
Support long-term planning, growth strategy, and capital readiness
Roll up your sleeves to improve financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Build and refine budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Identify inefficiencies and implement practical process improvements
Partner closely with accounting teams to ensure clean, timely, and accurate financials
Lead client meetings with confidence and clarity
Collaborate with LedgerLogix accounting and operations teams to deliver seamless service
Mentor and support team members while maintaining high standards
Monitor KPIs and financial performance trends
Identify risks early and proactively recommend mitigation strategies
Support complex decisions including pricing, hiring, investments, and systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
15–20+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
Prior CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leadership experience
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with modern accounting/finance tools
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree
CPA, CFA, or similar certification strongly preferred
Experience working with founder-led or growth-stage companies a plus
