Responsibilities

Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts at the federal, state, and local levels
Conduct field assessments including wetland delineations, habitat assessments, wildlife surveys, media assessments, and plant identification
Assist with jurisdictional determinations and documentation
Prepare clear, accurate, and compliant technical reports and environmental documentation
Apply knowledge of environmental regulations, natural resources, and protected species
Utilize GPS/GIS and other field data-collection tools as required
Coordinate field activities, travel logistics, and equipment needs
Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Follow project-specific health and safety plans and company Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant professional experience combining field services and technical reporting
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions

Preferred

Experience with wetland ecology and delineations, wildlife habitat assessments, media assessments, and plant identification preferred
Federal, state, and local permitting experience with Southeastern U.S. agencies preferred
Familiarity with GPS/GIS field data collection software preferred
